  5. RE: Brayden Schenn

First of all, nobody said that Brayden Schenn was going to be the "second coming of Kopitar." In fact the only players on this team that people make out to be some type of "God" is Trevor Lewis and Alec Martinez. People were just saying that Brayden Schenn is one of the best prospects in the world, we drafted him 5th overall, he had been playing great hockey in the WHL and in the World Junior tournament, why wouldn't you give him a look when we so desperately needed SOMETHING at the end of the season? What's the point of building and developing prospects if when it comes time to use them, you dont?

    RE: Loktionov

Agreed that he does need to put on some muscle. However, to argue that because his name ends in a "V" means that his work ethic is poor, you're an idiot. Get that guy off the round table. If THAT'S your point when discussing Loktionov that his name ends in a V, you don't deserve to be discussing hockey no matter what the topic is. Dean Lombardi has specifically groomed Andrei Loktionov to be a hard working player, and has also specifically said that he loves the player that Loktionov is turning into. The fact is he got hurt because he got sent down. THIS season Loktionov got hurt in the AHL - where he had no business being as he was playing great for us in L.A.
